Corwin's Heart
Corwin was born in May 2006 with a complex Congenital Heart Disease that cannot be cured. He has a univentricular heart/Tricuspid Atresia with transposed main arteries ... so he has only one pumping chamber instead of two, a large hole at the top of his heart, a missing valve, a leaking valve and his main arteries are the wrong way round.In simple terms he was born with only half a heart.
Luckily there is now heart surgery availlable that will help him live a longer and happier life, as near to normal as possible. The surgery is in three stages. He has now had all three stages and is doing well.

Hi there! I have been wanting to leave a comment on your page in a long time. I've been reading it for about 8 months now. LOL
We live in the US..Maryland to be exact, and our 11 month old daughter, Natalie was born with Tricuspid Atresia also! I love stopping by your page to see the wonderful news and updates about your adorable Corwin!! Thanks for having this blog and I look forward to more updates!
